Angsana Velavaru hotel is surrounded by crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean on Velavaru Island of Dhaalu Atoll. The island is known as ‘Turtle Island’ in the local Dhivehi language. The resort offers 79 private villas with access to the beach and private 34 villas of the InOcean category - water villas, located one kilometer from the main island. Angsana Velavaru is in close proximity to over 30 vibrant dive sites. It is an ideal place for beginners and experienced divers. First-class instructors at the PADI Gold Palm 5-Star dive center offer a variety of courses for beginners and professionals, as well as diving with a guide to explore the pristine waters of the atoll. Spectacular encounters with reef and whale sharks, eagle rays and turtles await you. Diving lessons for children from 8 years.

During diving, you can participate in coral planting and explore the rich reef ecosystem. Such a program is provided at Angsana Velavaru Marine Conservation Lab. The water sports center provides all the opportunities for exciting snorkeling, windsurfing, wakeboarding, catamaran riding, sailing and canoeing.

The hotel has a large beach pavilion, which is ideal for weddings and other celebrations on a tropical island. The conference halls of the resort host small corporate meetings.

Transfer: 40 minutes on a seaplane (only during daytime - from 06:00 to 16:00), or a 30-minute domestic flight to Kudahuvadhoo/Maamigili airport followed by a 40-minute speedboat trip.
