Marine Discovery Centre

Interactive Marine Discovery Centre conducts innovative marine conservation projects. This pioneer research center allows guests to meet unique marine creatures, learn about their life and habitat as well as to take actions to preserve the underwater world!

• Reefscapers is a project offering a unique opportunity to participate in the coral reef building. Head off to the splendid lagoon to get an unforgettable experience and become a participant of something important!
• Turtle rehabilitation program. Turtle Rehabilitation Centre is responsible for the recuperation of the Maldivian sea turtles population and conducts monitoring and photo-identification of these amazing herptiles.
• Manta Ray. Founded by senior marine biologist Guy Stevens and supported by Four Seasons and Save Our Seas, the project has the largest number of identified manta rays on record in the world, combining discoveries with active conservation of the species.
• Fish Lab breeds ornamental fish to create an alternative source of income for local communities. Visit the Fish Lab, help feed the bright fish and see their spawning.
