Remote atolls of the Maldives are located hundreds of kilometres from the capital, Malé, so many island resorts cannot be reached by boat alone. One option is a domestic flight from Velana International Airport to a domestic airport, from where guests are taken to the hotel by speedboat.

Domestic flights are operated by regular passenger aircraft and, unlike seaplanes, can fly after dark. This gives more flexibility when choosing an international flight, although the total travel time depends on the schedule and the duration of the onward speedboat transfer. This route is common for resorts in Gaafu Alif, Gaafu Dhaalu, Laamu and other remote atolls.

The boat journey takes from 25 to 50 minutes - the duration depends on the arrival airport and the selected connection.

The island is large and very green, with a long beach and a house reef. The beach and overwater villas are spacious, and many categories have private pools. The resort stretches for almost 3 km, has 264 rooms and villas, and one of its pools is 100 metres long.
