Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi is a 120 luxury all-villa resort that offers exactly as its name translates – Secret Water Island. The island covers approximately 160,000 sqm (16 hectares) of land and features one of the largest lagoons in the Maldives, while the resort includes a 200-meter long swimming pool which traverses the length of the island, reinvigorating destination spa and an intricate open air bamboo bar created by Balinese artisans who did not use any man-made materials in the structure.

Seaplane: A 55-minutes ride over a stunning marine seascape awaits you before touching down directly at Sirru Fen Fushi. Prior to take off you can relax in our elegant lounge at the terminal for drinks and fresh pastries.

Wheel-Based Aircraft: Domestic flights on Maldivian Airlines are available to Hanimadhoo followed by a 50 minutes speedboat transfer to the resort. Our speedboat transfer service operates 24 hours and can accommodate early morning and late evening flights.

Transfers Terms and Conditions

  • Seaplane transfers are available during daylight hours only. 
  • Guests arriving at Male airport after 3:15pm are recommended to book a domestic flight in advance (depends on resort policy) or an overnight accommodation close by the airport to be transferred to the resort the following morning.
  • Guests departing Male on an international flight prior to 09:00hrs will be transferred late on the previous afternoon. Accommodation can be booked in Male at an additional cost.
  • International departure flights should be scheduled after 9:00 am. Departing guests will be transferred to the airport at least 3 hours prior to scheduled international flight departure with last seaplane departure from the island at 3:00pm.
  • Seaplane transfers are managed by a third party company thus it will be subject to availability and may be cancelled due to weather conditions or maintenance needs. In this case, guests may be transferred via Domestic flight (if route exists per each hotel) or guests will need to book an overnight stay in Male at guest’ additional expense.
  • In extraordinary circumstances, luggage may be transported by a later flight (policies & procedures as per TMA regulations). Resort does not take any liability for delaying the guest luggage due to these reasons. 
  • If a guest misses their transfer due to International flight being delayed etc. Guest may opt to pay the supplement for changing the transfer mode (ex: from domestic to seaplane, etc) and this is Subject to availability.
  • Neither WIOTTO nor our Destination Management partner nor resorts are held responsible for any delays or cancellations due to the local seaplane carrier or weather conditions.
  • Baggage allowance is 20kg suitcase and 5kg hand luggage. Excess baggage is chargeable at $5.00 per kg, payable at the airport.
  • International flights must be provided at least 7 days prior to arrival.
  • On departure, schedule of seaplane transfers will be communicated to the guest a night prior to departure from the resort. 
  • Seaplane may stop in 1 or 2 destinations where the time of journey may be extended and guest will be advised prior to take off on flight.
  • 100% cancellation will be applicable in case of no show or cancellation as per cancellation policy.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice in accordance with any increases in fuel prices and taxes

• Baggage allowance is 20Kg of checked luggage and 5kg hand luggage.
• Excess baggage is subject to availability and is to be paid directly to the Domestic airline. The air carrier will put efforts to transfer excess baggage the same flight or the next available flight.
• The hotel must receive full flight details at least 7 days prior to the arrival date in order to guarantee the domestic flight seats. Failure to do so may result in additional waiting time in the Domestic Lounge or overnight in Male at the clients additional cost.
• Every effort will be made to transfer the guest to the resort within 1 ? hours of their check in at the domestic terminal counters.
• Departing guests will be transferred to the airport at least 3 hours in advance of the scheduled departure time of the international flight.
• Domestic flights can be booked only for arrivals landing in Male airport after 4pm as all day time arrivals will be transferred by Seaplane. The latest domestic flight departure from Male – Hanimaadhoo is at 2300hrs. Any change to this schedule will be communicated accordingly.
• Domestic flight rates are subject to increase if fuel surcharge or any other new tax is imposed and will be passed on to the tour operator.
• Domestic flight & speedboat transfers will be booked by the resort at the time of your reservation.

• Half Board (buffet breakfast at Raha Market. Buffet dinner at Raha Market or dine around option of a la carte dinner at Azure or Kata Restaurant) is included in the room rates.
• Meal supplements are inclusive of applicable taxes. All beverages will be at an additional cost.
• Meal plan basis must be the same for all the days of stay and for all guests staying in the same room.
• 1 child (0 – 13.99yrs) dines for free on the same board basis as their parents when sharing the same room in Beach Sunrise Villa, Beach Sunset Villa and Water Sunrise Villa
• Up to 2 children (0 – 13.99yrs) dines for free on the same board basis as their parents when sharing the same room in Luxury Tented Jungle Villa, Deluxe Beach Sunrise Villa, Deluxe Beach Sunset Villa and Grand Water Sunset Villa, Two bedrooms and Three bedroom villas
• During lower occupancy periods we may close certain restaurants on a rotational basis.
