Prohibited items at Indonesian airports
Certain items are prohibited or restricted for import or export into Indonesia. These typically include goods related to social, health, environmental, wildlife, and security matters. Below are some of these items.

- Wildlife items including certain seashells, beef, animal fat/oil, exotic birds, wild animals and their products.

- any goods for commercial purposes;
- gold and silver, except jewelry (for import only);
- currency exceeding established limits;

- sand and soil;
- whole human blood plasma;
- sandalwood (except handicrafts and oil).
