So when choosing, it is worth looking not so much at the number of stars as at the location and format of the holiday.

Le Domaine de L'Orangeraie Resort & Spa

One of the best-known hotels on La Digue and the most complete option in terms of infrastructure. Le Domaine de L'Orangeraie is located near the main village of La Passe and the ferry jetty, while the villas are spread across a large tropical garden and hillside.

Facilities include:

Patatran Village has a completely different location - at the northern tip of La Digue, near the small Anse Patates beach. The hotel occupies a hillside, so many rooms and bungalows face the ocean.

For accommodation, you can choose chalets by the beach or surrounded by the garden, and there are options for comfortable family stays.

Shops, restaurants, a diving centre, bicycle and boat rental are nearby - for La Digue, the location is very practical.

You can choose:

Cocolux Apartments

Cocolux is a more modern apartment option in Anse Reunion. The complex was built in 2019 opposite the Veuve Reserve, and the location is convenient for trips in both directions around the island - to Anse Source d'Argent and the beaches of the east coast.

The apartments have a kitchen, air conditioning, a bathroom, Wi-Fi and necessary household appliances. On the grounds there is a swimming pool, pool bar and relaxation areas. Breakfast can be ordered separately.

Cabanes Des Anges

Cabanes Des Anges can be mistaken for a small private villa: low-rise buildings are hidden among dense greenery, the surroundings are quiet, and instead of a large hotel territory there is a tropical garden and a swimming pool. Guests are offered apartments with a private veranda and an equipped kitchen.

With only four rooms and a restaurant practically on the sand, Le Relax Beach House feels more like a small beach house than a hotel. It is located on Anse Reunion, so the sea is only a few steps from the room. Three rooms face the garden, while one has an ocean view. Each has air conditioning, a private bathroom and Wi-Fi.

Le Surmer is a small complex of eight chalets on Anse Reunion Beach. It is a convenient place to stay if you plan to explore La Digue: it takes about 15 minutes to walk to Anse Source d'Argent , while more remote beaches of the island can be explored by bicycle.
