Nature of the island

Once a coconut plantation, the island later became the focus of active work to restore local forests and protect rare species of flora and fauna. Félicité is known for its incredible white-sand beaches and granite boulders that create a stunning landscape. Hidden coves and cosy spots between the boulders are ideal for a secluded holiday. Félicité is home to coco de mer palms - a symbol of the Seychelles, as well as takamaka trees and exotic flowers. Dense tropical forests are home to rare birds. And, of course, here you will also find giant tortoises.

Six Senses Zil Pasyon

There is only one hotel on Félicité - the luxurious retreat Six Senses Zil Pasyon. It occupies one third of the island, while the rest is a protected nature reserve. The hotel's pride is an infinity saltwater pool on top of a huge granite boulder, with breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean and distant islands!

Excursions to neighbouring islands

Félicité is an excellent base for exploring the Inner Seychelles. La Digue and Praslin are within easy reach, making it simple to organise day trips and explore the surrounding area.

On neighbouring islands, there is golf, cycling and Vallée de Mai, a reserve protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Boats regularly run between Félicité and the nearby smaller islands.

How to get to Félicité

The island is located 55 kilometres northeast of Mahé. You can reach Félicité by boat or helicopter. A helicopter transfer from Mahé takes 20 minutes. It is an amazing adventure, with incredible views of the archipelago and the surrounding islands!
