New hotels in Seychelles 2023-2024

Every year new hotels open in the Seychelles. Most of them are on the main island of Mahe, but hoteliers also choose small islands, of which there are quite a few in the Seychelles. They operate on the principle of "one island - one hotel", a very popular concept in the Maldives. As a rule, these are private islands, where there is only hotel infrastructure, as well as research and conservation centers. In 2023 and 2024, resorts were opened both on the main island and on private ones. We will tell you about them in more detail.

We open the selection with two hotels of the world-famous Hilton chain: Canopy by Hilton Seychelles Resort and Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island. Both resorts were opened in 2024 and will undoubtedly occupy top positions in the ratings of the best hotels in Seychelles.

Canopy by Hilton opened in mid-March 2024. The brand new resort is located on the colorful coast of Anse a la Mouche on the island of Mahe. It is a complex of multi-story buildings along the beach, with swimming pools and designer landscaping.

The hotel is designed for holidays with children. There is a children's club, as well as an entertainment club for teenagers. A wide variety of entertainment, games, excursions, master classes not only for children, but also for adults.

The resort is located quite far from the main island of Mahe, so it is worth going here for at least 10 days to fully relax from a long transfer and enjoy your vacation. The island is only accessible by plane, it has its own runway.

Platte is a very beautiful island, in addition to all this you can stay in one of the luxurious villas with a private pool and a designer interior reminiscent of a mix of colonial and modern styles.

The Lakaz Kreol 3* hotel opened in August 2023 in the northern part of Mahe Island, not far from the capital Victoria, next to the famous Beau Vallon Beach.
