How to organize a wedding in the Seychelles?

First of all, it is worth noting that the marriage ceremony in the Seychelles can be both symbolic and official.

Symbolic many hotels hold a ceremony for their guests. To carry it out, you just need to choose the desired hotel and discuss with the wedding organizer all the details of your special day. What you need for a formal Seychelles wedding

First of all, the bride and groom must reach the age of 18. Parental consent is required for minors to marry.

The second no less important condition for concluding a wedding in the Seychelles is the availability of all necessary documents, namely:

• birth certificate of both parties;
• clear copies of passports of both parties;
• a completed marriage application form;
• divorce certificate, if any;
• death certificate of the previous spouse, if appropriate.

All documents issued abroad must be translated into English or French and have an apostille.

The marriage is entered into in English or French by a Seychelles registrar. For a legal marriage ceremony, two witnesses are required, which can be provided by the organizer at the request of the bride and groom.

• on other islands - 4000 Seychelles rupees (about 300 euros). At the same time, the parties entering into marriage also bear the costs of transport, accommodation and meals of the inspector of civil status in other islands.
