Beach holiday in Jimbaran
Jimbaran Bay is the heart of this area, a long strip of golden sand washed by gentle waves. The location is ideal for swimming and walks. Here you can also watch stunning sunsets. The calm waters make this place suitable for family holidays, while the scenic views create a romantic setting for couples.
- Jimbaran beach, unlike the noisy shores of Kuta and Seminyak, offers a quieter and calmer holiday.
- Tegal Wangi beach - a small scenic beach with cliffs and natural pools. This is a very popular place for sunsets.
A few minutes' drive from Jimbaran is Balangan beach - a hidden gem popular with surfers thanks to its constant waves. The beach is surrounded by rugged cliffs and offers a more secluded kind of holiday, with fewer people and untouched nature. Although the beach cannot be called ideal for swimming because of sharp stones and corals, it is a great place for surfing, photo sessions, or simply enjoying the panoramic view of the ocean.

Fish market in Jimbaran
Jimbaran is synonymous with fresh seafood, and seafood warungs on the beach are a must-visit. There is a wide choice of freshly caught fish, prawns, crabs, and other seafood delicacies, grilled and served with traditional Balinese sambal and steamed rice.
Among the extra experiences for seafood lovers is a visit to the local fish market, known as Kedonganan Fish Market.
